Reimagined English Version

A moment arrived—
a moment that had stepped
outside of time;
and it pressed
no one aside.

You were there—
and a tremor of longing
unfolded before my eyes,
blossomed,
opened its wings,
and rose to its highest flight.

It held the cloud in an embrace
so fierce with joy
that the rain
fell without restraint.

And the sun, too,
poured its warmth
through the living veins of the day.

My fevered face
counted the droplets—
one
by
one.

Then a breath of doubt
suddenly trembled into being—
something between waking
and sleep,
a thing no dream
could ever hold.

You remain—
astonished by a gaze
that melts
in the depths of your eyes,
sinks into your heart,
and runs free
through the core of your soul.

Believe me, beloved—
neither folly
nor fable it was:
a surge of life,
stepping into the world again,
in colors no worn-out faith
could bear.

A voice
rose from the far end
of loneliness;
and dream itself
set foot
upon the land of truth.

And the soul,
fearless at last,
drew in
a new breath.
